The thoughts of a wannabe runner attempting to run a marathon

The Day Before
I'm writing this from a Days Inn about 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. My bib number is 7079. Tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. I'll start the Pittsburgh half marathon.
Running has never been a favorite pastime of mine. But it's addicting. The cold, fresh air filling your lungs. The burst of adrenaline that comes at the end of a run when you have nothing left. The feeling of strength in your legs as you attack the hill. The pride of reaching the summit.
I'm a journalism student at Kent State University. These are my thoughts while training for a marathon.
